Service Software would like to announce the release of Punchlist Manager.NET™
Version 4.3.0. This release contains several changes and improvements
to our award-winning warranty management system.
NOTE: If you elected to host the software on your servers,
please contact one of our trainers listed below to schedule an appointment to be

New Features and Enhancements:
• Projects screen – added Primary and Secondary Contacts including
their titles, Tasks
and Correspondence. Contacts/Titles follow through to the Job
Detail screen
• Project screen indicators – Two (2) asterisks will show if there has been
information
added to contacts, setup, vendors, tasks, and correspondence, plus Primary
Contact
information displays on the top of the Project Detail screen
• Job screen Red Flag – added Zoom button
• Job screen indicators – Two (2) asterisks will show if there has been information
added to Contacts, Lists, Schedule, Task, Plan, Vendor, Correspondence, Document
and Quality Process
• Job screen Custom Fields – Once the terminology for a custom field is entered
this
field will be permanently displayed on the screen and will print with the
Job
information on work orders
• Custom Fields settings – Added the ability to select how many custom fields
you
would like to view.
• Job Contacts – Individual Contacts, Email/Mail merge button improved
• Job Correspondence – Filter added to enable selection of Email, Phone, Fax,
Letter,
etc.
• Reports - Added Hot Sheet 3 Report which allows Users to change report title
terminology at Site level.
• Reports - Added Signature capture. Viewable on the List Detail screen
and prints on
the following: Work Order and List Summary Report.
• Reports – Added Vendor Correspondence Report (detail and Summary)
• Vendor Aging Report – Added ability to select by List type and Project
• Quality Process Inspection Report – Added Quality Process Detail Report
which gives
you the ability to show the detail of the actual walk
• Quality Process Summary Report – Added which summarizes the details
• Work Orders Overdue Report – Added, similar to a Hot Sheet report but can
be
sorted by Days Overdue, Vendor, Address, Contact, or Lot #.
• Main Vendor screen – Added column to display Vendor insurance status
• Vendor Insurance screen – significant additions/improvements, including ability
to
specify limit amounts
• Vendor screen – Added Tasks and Correspondence along with filter ability
• Vendor screen indicators – Two (2) asterisks will show if there has been
information
added to employees, insurance, billing, tasks, and correspondence plus
pertinent/primary information displays at the top of the Vendor Detail screen
Bug Fixes:
• When saving Vendor Insurance information produced an error
• Job Detail report does not show custom fields if a large criteria is selected.
They
only show up if you use specific addresses, ID's, etc. as long as it
was not large
criteria
• Send by Vendor or Print by Vendor work order does not print or send, when
more than
5 works orders are selected.
• Add the sign off date to all list summary, item detail, and quality process
report (this
is the date associated with the signature capture).
• Utilities Mail Merge - Vendors, you cannot perform a mail merge.
• The drop down on report criteria for several reports shows deleted and inactive
determinations.
• Item detail - Email - At the email page, it is picking the wrong Email address
for
customer
• On data Export and Mail Merge you cannot select an individual lot/block on
Data
Export - Work Orders.
• On the Job Portal when printing open or closed requests, the report displays
the text
for customer request twice.
• The CC function on Send on Sync, Send WO from .NET and SEND from List
management does not work properly.
• Close on the list detail, when the customer hits close w/o a close date it
displays an
error message.
• Vendor Aging Report not calculating correct Item Age
• Jobs screen – Save & Add Copy button not working properly
• Adjust time stamp on vendor portal to equal the time zone settings at site
level.
• Mobile Send on Sync, sort Work Orders by item number
PLEASE NOTE: There were bugs reported that can be fixed
by clearing your temporary internet files folder, and making sure that the client side changes have been applied to each workstation that will be using
Punchlist Manager.NET™.
You will also want to add your Punchlist Manager.NET™ site to the "Trusted Sites"
Zone in internet explorer to keep some features from being blocked by a Microsoft
update.
The upgrades will be completed the night of July 31, 2008.
These are only the beginning of the enhancements and changes that will be coming
in the months ahead. We use your feedback to improve upon the application you have
